The PEFCR Hotel Accommodation-Team invites hotels across the EU to contribute a supporting study for testing the Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCR) for Hotel accommodation.
Participating in these studies offers a unique opportunity to test and co-shape the main Europe-wide future environmental framework for measuring and communicating the overall life-cycle wide environmental footprint performance of hotel accommodations.
Project Details:
- Timeline: Launch of the Supporting studies: June-July 2025. Expected conclusion, including review: Mid-November 2025.
- Objective: Support the EU hotel industry in measuring life cycle environmental performance of hotel accommodation services.

Interested hotels can express their interest by contacting our Technical Secretariat at pefcr-hotels(at)adelphi.de. Please include your organisation name, contact person, company size, and details of the hotel(s) selected for the study.
