Fifth TS Meeting

We are excited to share some updates from our recent Technical Secretariat meeting. 

During the meeting, the project consortium provided the Secretariat with an update on the ongoing supporting studies, in which hotels are currently testing and validating the draft Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCRs) using their own operational data. These real-world pilot studies are intended to ensure that the PEFCRs are robust and practical for the sector. Results from these hotel-based studies are expected by the end of the year.

Additionally, the project consortium presented the Secretariat with a draft communication guide to gather feedback and address outstanding questions. The guide is intended to provide hotel operators with practical advice and illustrative examples to facilitate the effective communication of Product Environmental Footprint results.
